A Visit

After brunch today we took a short bus ride to the resort where Carol's sister Linda and her husband Jack are staying. They arrived last night. We were able to learn more details about Jack's fainting spells on the flight from Kelowna to Calgary which caused the plane to land more quickly onto a substitute runway. Medics wheeled him off the plane in a small wheel chair and he was transported to a hospital where he was examined for absolutely everything and pronounced well. Apparently it was a temporary thing related to the stresses of getting away.

Below is a photo from the seventh floor of the complex where they are staying.

The photo below is of Jack & Linda's balcony overlooking the ocean ...

And a little story about our arrival Friday night at the Ixtapa airport: While walking outside from the plane to the modest airport building I passed a few signs that announced we happened to be in a zone of inflammable vapors. As though it was a weather forecast a note at the bottom said, "Possibility of explosions." It was good of them to mention that because if there's one thing I can't stand it's an unexpected fire ball.
