Today we went nowhere, rested out by the pool, did some reading, and rested a little more. I didn't know how to work the gas stove here so I inquired of the conserje. His name is Jorge, which is how he wrote it for me, and it is pronounced HORkay. He thought we were probably out of gas and led me to the top of the stairs, then by ladder to the roof of our condo, where several white-painted propane tanks were secured under the broiling sun. The tanks were warm to say the least. I didn't see any of those "possibility of explosions" signs so I'm sure it's perfectly safe. The dials showed we had gas so the problem was me. Jorge gave me a demo in how to use the stove.
The above photo shows our condo balcony at the far end on the left, directly above the sun umbrella. Temps have been into the 80's around here which takes a little acclimatization. We've been working on that - in the shade by the pool.
We've eaten out a few times (not today) and we're impressed by how good the food is.
... and that's it for today.
